Technology V/S Tradition

Many argue that technology should be integrated into classrooms, but did they think of consequences? Aren’t there any future problems to be predicting? Isn’t there going to be obstacles to overcome? All these force us to think of the decisions we are making in the educational system. The teacher is probably not going to spend much time thinking about her students, for teachers the interaction will be more automated as they will be focused on the appliances that allow their students to communicate with them, rather than the human beings at the other end of the process; for the students it’s going to be the same: and if no other means are ever implemented both teachers and students will continue misunderstanding the usefulness of the tool. Are we heading to a robotic world before we even know it? Or are we mature enough to know how to control this one tool we created?
